Asian Pork Burgers

Do you see this?

It's the eye twitch!  I can't get it to stop and it has been happening all day!  A friend of mine tells me that it happens when you are overly tired!  Hmm, there could be truth this.  I have been trying to wake up early every morning this week for a hot date - with my trainer!  Meet Jillian and Bob!

Jake usually wakes up shortly after I begin my workout and enjoys watching me grunt and scream back at them as they babble through the screen at me.  I really enjoy these workouts, but lunges and planks get me every time.

I didn't have a chance to blog last night but this meal was way to good to not share with you! We had Asian Pork Burgers!  I am not a leftovers girl.  I repeat, I am NOT a leftovers girl.  These babies were so good that I brought leftovers to work with me!  And I pouted when I finished eating it, knowing that it was the last one!

I began by mixing l lb. ground pork burger(we use venison sausage) with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and Asian seasoning.  Jake and I favor bold, flavorful food with a hint of spice, so I used Kung Pao seasoning.

Next patty the burgers and placed them in the oven for 20 minutes. (These would be even better on the grill)

While the burgers cooked, I whipped up two sauces to accompany the burgers.  An easy aioli and a Thai peanut sauce!

Jake chose to top his burger with aioli while I kept with the Asian them and used the peanut sauce! Bliss in every bite!
