Hey Spicy Food-Lover! Yes, I am talking to you! Have you tried these?
Chipolte Peppers in Adobe Sauce! I remember it wasn’t very long ago that I began using hot sauce and now I am cooking with these crazy hot things! If you want to kick up the spice in your cooking, buy a can of these! My tongue is tingling and my lips are still numb! These peppers and its' sauce make this meal!
Tonight I made Chipolte-Orange Shrimp! This is a very low calorie and low fat meal. This is only 240 calories per 1 ¼ cup! If you like spicy food give it a try!
I started by sautéing 1lb. uncooked shrimp in ¼ cup of Italian dressing for 3 minutes.
Then I added ¼ cup orange marmalade and 2tbsp. chopped chipotles(use less if you are not a spicy fan or use chipotle powder). Simmer for 3 minutes. Then add cilantro.
Serve over rice!
I couldn’t eat this meal fast enough! The Italian dressing created a savory base while the chipoltes added a nice spice and the marmalade gave it a hint of sweetness! We will be eating this again soon! It was husband approved!
