I am not only looking forward to the school year and getting back into a routine, but I am also stoked that my once-a-week love affair and I will be reunited. Enter – Scooters Coffee!
I would stop everyday if...
A) I was willing to wake up earlier in the morning.
B) I was made of money.
I love my skinny, sugar-free Carmel lattes, but at four bucks a pop I get this guilty feeling in the pit of my stomach each time I pull up to the window. Do the math: if I pay $4 a week for a latte, by the end of the year I would have spent almost $200 on coffee. A latte a day adds up to almost $900 a year. Wow! What’s a girl to do? Experiment! After some research on http://pinterest.com (If you haven’t joined this site – do it). I found the perfect recipe for a Carmel frappicino that I can make right here in my home! I decided that it was worth a try!
After a quick trip to the grocery store, I emerged with my ingredients: bold coffee, sugar-free Carmel topping, sugar-free creamer, and fat free whipped topping! That is all you need for this tasty treat!
Process:
1. In a food processor or blender combine 1 cup cold coffee, Carmel sauce, 1/4 cup creamer or skim milk, and 6 ice cubes.
2. Pour into glass and top with fat free whipped cream and dash of Carmel sauce.
(I put all of the ingredients in my processor the night before and refrigerate it over night! Less to do in the morning.)
This is so good! Sorry Scooters our love-affair my be over.
Now on to dinner: Breakfast for dinner is not my favorite meal but I had a wild hair and thought what the heck. This meal was so easy to put together!
Top with scrambled eggs and favorite ingredients. We used ham and mushrooms.
Dust with shredded cheese. Pop the pizza in the over at 425 for 20 minutes.
Sit back and Enjoy!
